My mission:
My goal is to combine my diverse experience together at The Smooth Suite offering personalized treatments in a welcoming, relaxing environment where every client receives exceptional care and leaves feeling smooth, soothed and renewed.
Some Fluff about me:
A little bit about me. I have served in the spa industry for the past 30 years. graduating from the Swedish Institute for Massage and health science in ’96, and then getting my degree in Esthetics from Lia Schorr in ’98.
I have also received numerous certifications in holistic health, including Iridology, Ohashiatsu, and I had the honor to study with Dr. Afrika as a holistic practitioner. I enjoy incorporating what I’ve learned from Ayurveda, and Herbology into my practice with clients, and my own health.
My experience ranges from working at high-end spas all over Manhattan doing facials, massage, all body treatments, speed waxing, managing 2 spas at Equinox, performing Sports massage for years for tennis players at the US Open, post-recovery at NYRR races in the city, as well as 12 years doing medical massage for Physical therapy offices for various conditions/ injuries (pre & post-op).
